Carpenter
Overview
The primary responsibilities of this position are to perform tasks to assist in the successful completion of projects from start to finish. Work with hand and power tools in a safe and efficient manner while adhering to established safe working procedures and wearing the proper safety equipment always. Assist in the resolution of design issues, change requests, material defects, and site concerns. Enable your crew to maintain high standards of workmanship and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Must have at least 2 yrs consecutive experience doing construction or renovations
- Experience in drywall, finishing, flooring, framing, painting and related tasks are required
- Must have valid drivers’ license and reliable transportation
- Must be punctual and have strong work ethic
- Ability to follow verbal and written directions, work independently and with others are mandatory

CONCRETE FINISHER
Overview
The primary responsibilities of this position are primarily working with concrete and reinforced steel for precast concrete structures. This is a demanding job that requires good physical condition and the ability to maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. Concrete finishing experience is required.
Responsibilities
- Collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up casts, and pouring concrete
- Raking, tamping, and leveling poured concrete
- Cleaning and oiling concrete moulds
- Applying screed finish to concrete
- Transporting raw materials throughout the plant manually
- Removing rubble, other debris to maintain warehouse cleanliness
- Checking finished precast for damage and defects
- Assisting in minor concrete repairs
Qualifications
Education Required:
- High School Diploma
Years of Experience
- Less than 1 year to less than 2 years in construction or concrete industry
Specific Experience
- Perform repetitive, physical labour for long periods of time in a dusty, dirty, wet and muddy environment

Foreman - Onsite
Overview
Your main responsibility as a construction onsite foreman will be to manage the site and represent the group to the contractor and client. We’re searching for a motivated, meticulous, and problem-solving professional who will also closely work with the project manager.
Responsibilities
- Coordinate site precast/subcontractor tasks and deliveries according to priorities and plans
- Identify and resolve job and personnel problems by analyzing, investigating, recommending and implementing required actions
- Ensure installation activities/tasks are properly coordinated on time and to quality standards
- Responsible for daily and weekly planning and scheduling of work activities
- Ensure the precast layout is accurate before the start of installation
- Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
- Ensure good communication (verbal or written) to all crew members (typically 3-5-person crew)
- Maintains a clean, organized, safe work area at all times.
- Promote and adhere to required Company Health & Safety rules and regulations
- Promotes preventive maintenance of tools and safety equipment.
- To attend all required/necessary site meetings
- To be the liaison between the site and the office
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent experience
- A diploma in Construction Management or equivalent is an asset
- Ideally, experience in the precast concrete installation or experience in steel erection or curtain or window wall systems is also acceptable
- Minimum 5 yrs experience as a Construction Site Supervisor with specific experience preparing job site layouts
- Ability to read drawings and plans
- Proven supervisory experience as a Site Supervisor
- Strong knowledge of the Construction trade, techniques and equipment
- Organized with effective communication skills including a focus on teamwork
- Ability to lead by example, educate, coach, develop and direct workers with specific, timely instructions and feedback
- Proven experience in planning and maintaining budget and schedule
- WHMIS/GHS Certification
- Working at Heights Certification
- Supervisor Health and Safety Awareness
Work Environment
- You will be working outdoors in all types of weather
- You will be performing a 44-hour week with the expectations of overtime and some weekend work to complete projects on schedule

Formwork Carpenter

Inside Sales Representative
Overview
The Inside Sales Rep position is a frontline position with extensive interaction with customers, co-workers, drivers, yard and plant personnel. This position also ensures that customers are serviced in a courteous and attentive manner and that orders and purchases are handled properly, accurately and in a timely fashion.
Responsibilities
- Assist customers at the counter and over the phone including
- Prepare loading bills, delivery tickets and/or invoices as required
- Calculate customer material requirements
- Take customer orders over the phone and/or in person
- Answer incoming calls and assist or direct calls as required
- Assist in Inventory management-updating, controlling and/or ordering as required
- Ordering supplies, completion and maintenance of applicable documents
- Prepare Point of sale (POS) daily cash receipts log
- Co-ordinate deliveries to customers with Dispatcher
- Participate in taking our physical inventory
Qualifications
- High School Diploma with minimum of 2 yrs. experience in inside sales or related position ideally within the building materials or landscape products field
- Excellent communication skills
- Proven customer service orientation demonstrating a positive and professional attitude towards customers at all times
- Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively

Sandblaster
Overview
The sandblaster position is required for one of the final stages of precast concrete production. This individual will be required to use sandblastings techniques to finish precast elements. The applicant must have a good eye for consistency. Knowledge of compressors and sandblasting techniques is an asset.
Responsibilities
- The right candidate will have blasting experience with sand, glass or water, on pre-cast concrete panels
- They will have experience driving a heavy-duty work truck
- Shotblasting experience would be an asset, but willing to train
- Reliable transportation to work

- Forklift Licence an asset. Not required.

Skilled Labourer
Overview
Skilled Labourers are responsible for aiding in all areas of the precast plant. They are
responsible for collecting materials, assembling cages, setting up forms and concrete
placing. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the
plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.
Responsibilities
- Receive oral instructions to determine work assignments
- Perform physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving your whole body, such as climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and handling of materials
- Position or dismantle forms for pouring concrete
- Transport raw materials, finished products and equipment throughout plant manually or using powered equipment
- Assist machine operators, Crane Operators and other labourers as required
- Bending of reinforcing steel for precast concrete structures
- May assist with minor repairs and maintenance
- Remove rubble and other debris
- Clean and remove excess debris from molds and other equipment
- Participate in daily Pre-Production Meetings
- Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task

- Experience working in a production line setting

Welder
Overview
Welders are primarily responsible for building and welding the wire forms that are used for concrete production. They participate in general housekeeping and other various tasks throughout the plant. A high level of safety practices must be used at all times.
Responsibilities
- Interpret welding process specifications
- Operate manual or semi-automatic, full automated welding equipment
- Operate flame-cutting equipment
- Operate brakes, shears and other metal shaping, straightening and bending machines
- Fit, braze and torch-straighten metal
- Operate oxygen arc cutting equipment
- Determine weldability of materials
- Operate hoisting and lifting equipment
- Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products
- Complete Field Level Risk Assessments before beginning each task
